Performance powder is a special powder adhesive for our ELT Zip Transfer method. Performance powder is designed to give the print extra bleed resistance on 100% polyester and sublimated polyester. ELT Zip Transfers will heat press at a much lower temperature than regular heat transfers.
Our Take:
There is a huge difference between the ELT Zip Fashion Powder and the ELT Zip Performance Powder. Huge. The Fashion Powder is very soft and stretchy. The Performance Powder is much firmer/harder but provides an amazing dye-blocking barrier. Personally, we would apply the ELT Zip Fashion Powder to any transfer that was not sublimated polyester so we can get the soft, flexible feel most customers are looking for. For decorating sublimated polyester, the ELT Zip Performance Powder is unbeatable.
