SoftFX LC Sample Kit

SoftFX LC is for printers who want an ultra-soft, stretchy print that feels close to a transfer. This sample kit gives you six colors, including Gray Underbase, so you can test the series on spandex, performance fabrics, cotton, blends, and standard polyester.

What to Look for on Press:

• Very soft hand on finished garments
• Strong stretch when the ink deposit is heavy enough
• Fast flash for quick multicolor production
• Low cure that helps protect heat-sensitive fabric
• Gray Underbase for better coverage and fiber control on 100% polyester
• Good performance on spandex and Lycra blends

Test the Feel and the Stretch:

Print one sample with a lighter deposit and one with a fuller deposit. The lighter print may feel softer. The fuller print should handle more stretch. Let both prints cool, pull them several times, and wash them before deciding which setup is right for production.

Start with 86 to 156 mesh and a 70 durometer squeegee. SoftFX LC flashes very fast, so lower or raise the flash unit as needed to avoid overheating the garment. Cure at 270°F to 280°F and confirm the full ink film reached temperature. Use Gray Underbase on 100% polyester. SoftFX LC is not recommended for sublimated garments, and it is not compatible with nylon catalyst.
