Watercolor LC Sample Kit

Watercolor LC gives you the soft, worn-in look of water-based ink with a plastisol press routine and a low cure temperature. This kit includes six half-pint colors so you can test hand, opacity, wet-on-wet printing, and vintage effects on the shirts your customers actually buy.

• 1/2 pint of Watercolor LC Medium Royal
• 1/2 pint of Watercolor LC Scarlet
• 1/2 pint of Watercolor LC Silver Gray
• 1/2 pint of Watercolor LC White

Why It Belongs in a Press Test:

• Very soft hand for retail and vintage-style prints
• Low cure helps protect delicate and heat-sensitive garments
• Will not dry in the screen like water-based ink
• Wicks into the fabric for smooth wet-on-wet printing
• Better opacity than many standard water-based inks
• Can cover light and medium garments without a discharge underbase

Build a Small Sample Board:

Print each color on light, medium, and dark fabric. Change the mesh count or ink deposit on part of the design. This will show you where Watercolor LC gives clean coverage and where it creates the worn vintage look. A soft, high-quality shirt will make the hand feel even better.

Start with 125 to 230 mesh and an 80 durometer squeegee. Cure at 250°F to 270°F and confirm cure with a temperature test and wash test. On dark fabric, print without an underbase when you want a faded look. For brighter color, test the ink over a compatible discharge base when your process allows it.
