Blockout Pens

Tiny pinholes and open spots do not always justify recoating the entire screen. A blockout pen lets the printer cover those defects quickly before ink reaches the wrong area.

Before printing:

• Hold the screen to light and mark leaks
• Apply blockout only to the needed area
• Allow the repair to dry fully
• Check compatibility with the ink and cleanup chemistry

These pens are for stencil touch-up, not film-positive repair. A large damaged area is usually better recoated or patched with the emulsion maker's recommended product.
