Solarmax Sample Kit

A shirt that changes when it reaches sunlight gets attention fast. The Solarmax Sample Kit gives you four quart containers so you can test color-changing designs on your own press before planning a larger job. Print the blue, red, and yellow on white fabric or over a white underbase. Use the Metallic Black to add dark outlines, contrast, or a visible part of the design.

Try Two Different Deposits:

Print one area with a lighter ink deposit and another area with a heavier deposit. The lighter print can hide better indoors. The heavier print can produce a stronger color outside. This simple test will help you choose the look before showing the effect to a customer.

Start with 86 to 180 mesh and a 70 durometer squeegee. Cure the full ink film at 320°F to 330°F, then test the garment in direct sunlight. Solarmax is made for white fabric or a white underbase. Test before using it over colored polyester. Store the ink below 77°F and keep the containers away from heat because color-changing inks have a limited shelf life.
